Shoulder to shoulder


More than ever before, we need each other. The world is experiencing what it had never experienced before, no, not in this format. As a result people don't know how to act, they are acting out of character. They do not even believe that they would act in such a way. But we need each other. 


In areas where you are strong, strengthen the one that is weak. In areas where you are weak, be vulnerable enough to not only ask for help but please receive it when it is offered. We do need each other. Don't wait to be asked, if you see a need you can fill, step up and fill it. 


"This isn't so others can take it easy while you sweat it out. No, you're shoulder to shoulder with them all the way, As it is written, Nothing left over to the one with the most, Nothing lacking to the one with the least".(2Cor.8.13-15 MSG) 


These are the times where we need to stand shoulder to shoulder with one another. Be the eyes of the blind, the feet of the lame, the ear of the deaf and the hands to handle. Do not do it thinking that you are sweating it out while others are taking it easy.  Scriptures says when we stand shoulder to shoulder with one another, "nothing will be left over for the one that has surplus because he would have used that to meet the needs of others and nothing will be lacking from those having the least. Let us stand shoulder to should in this trying times. We need each other now more than ever before. Shoulder to shoulder... 


"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ".(Gal.6.2)

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
