Come to Christ Jesus

Come to Christ Jesus 

Come to Him [then, to that] Living Stone which men tried and threw away, but which is chosen [and] precious in God's sight. (1Pet.2.4 AMP)

I employ you to come to Christ no matter what you are going through and I guarantee that he will understand you but much more, he will come through for you. 

The Bible says he is the Living Stone which men tried and threw away. This is huge. Christ was tried by men and was found wanting and had to be thrown away. If Christ was judged unqualified, do you think you would be qualified according to the standard of men? Men will try and disqualify you but that is the more reason to come to Christ. People will speak against you, say all sorts but Christ will accept you irrespective of. 

This Living Stone that men "took one look at and threw away, was chosen and precious in God's sight. Could that be your pointer? That when men reject you, God accepts you? If you are still in doubt, see the way the Apostle Paul puts it:

"To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved." (Eph.1.6)

You are accepted in the beloved but you have to come. Come to Christ. 

"All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]." (John.6.37 AMP)

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
