God moved into the neighbourhood

God moved into the neighbourhood

" I heard a voice thunder from the Throne: "Look! Look! God has moved into the neighborhood, making his home with men and women! They're his people, he's their God. (Rev.21.3 MSB)

God's intent from the beginning was to make His dwelling with man. Little wonder the Bible tells us that in the cool of the day, God would walk in the Garden of Eden and fellowship with man. But sin created a gulf between God and man.

"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." (Isa.59.2)

Jesus came and died for the sins of the world and reconciled man back to God and because of this reconciliation man now has access back to the throne room of God. But that was not enough, God wanted to be with His people. He did not want this going and coming. We see an example of this with Joshua, Moses' assistant.

"And GOD spoke with Moses face-to-face, as neighbors speak to one another. When he would return to the camp, his attendant, the young man Joshua, stayed--he didn't leave the Tent." (Exod.33.11 MSB)

Our text reaffirms this; when all was said and done, the Bible tells us that God has moved into the neighbourhood, making His home with men and women. When God moves into the neighbourhood everything that is contrary moves out - no more pain, no more crying, no more sickness and no more death. God has made His home with you, enjoy peace, love and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Good day,
Have a great day today,
