After the flood...

After the flood...

"This is the family tree of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. After the flood, they themselves had sons." ( Gen.10.1)

Life is full of ups and downs, low times and high times, battles and victories. What you take out is dependent on you - what you see, how you see and what you are able to make out of the troubles that assail you. Most times, the miracle is not what most people will term a miracle. Most times, the miracle is that you survived the storm.

The story of the lunatic boy who was brought to Jesus is a case in point. The father says; "often, the boy falls into the fire and often into the river."

"Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water." (Matt.17.15 KJV)

That the boy survived those attacks is the real miracle. He survived long enough to get to Jesus.

"And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour." (Matt.17.18 KJV)

Maybe all you need to do is survive the flood long enough to get to Jesus.

Our text says Noah's boys survived the flood and after the flood, they themselves had sons. Your miracle is awaiting you just after the storm. So God's word to you this morning is don't die in the flood. Whatever you do, survive this flood.

After the fire of King Nebuchadnezzar's roaring furnace, Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego got promoted.

"Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon." (Dan.3.30 MSB)

After the cross Jesus was given a name higher than any other.

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name" (Phil.2.9 KJV)

Survive your flood for after the flood your miracle awaits you.

Good day,
Have a great day today,
