Different language 

"Come, let's go down and give them different languages. Then they won't be able to understand each other." (Gen.11.7 NLT)

Language is a fundamental factor required for development, understanding and progress. Without language understanding is hampered and with that comes limited progress. 

If a people speak one language, they can think same thoughts or at least think along same line and if they can think alike and think the same thoughts, then they can achieve similar goals. 

Our text shows us that for there to be understanding, language must be the same, or at least, communication must be possible. 

Imagine then that we think the thoughts of God, or think as God thinks because we have God's language - His word. That means we will be able to understand and achieve as God would. This makes the case for us to imbibe God's word, hide them in our heart, speak them when we walk the street, when we lie down or sit down. You want to achieve what God has in store for you, fill your heart with the word of God 

"But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.... and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Ps.1.2-3 KJV)

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
