But who am I?
But who am I?
"But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?" (Exod.3.11)
When God cast a vision before you, there is always this sense of inadequacy that overwhelms you. It is interesting that the God of the whole world believes in you. The least you can do is believe in yourself. Great achievement are often accomplished despite self-doubts. That is, despite the inadequacies, you keep acting on what God has told you to do.
Moses had to ask God, "Who am I that I should go before Pharaoh and that I should bring the children to Israel out of Egypt?" That would be the sum total of Moses' assignment yet he felt incapable to the task.
What is your assignment and how has it made you feel small? Know that God gave that assignment to you because He believes you are capable. That reminds me of Gideon, who God called "A might man of valour" yet he saw himself as an intimated slave under the oppression of the Medianite. You must learn to see yourself the way God sees you and call yourself what God has called you.
The Apostle Paul says it this way: "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me". When your assignment ask you, "But who are you?" You will answer: "I am the righteousness of God Christ" But who are you? I am hid in Christ in God. But who are you? I am blessed and highly favoured.
Good day,
Have a great day today,
