Let Him complete what He started

It boggles the mind when we think or say that we have found Christ. We couldn't find Him even in a thousand years. Isaiah the Prophet makes us understand that God is a God Who hides Himself.

"Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour." (Isa.45.15)

So we really did not find Him, He found us. If at all you found Him, it is only because He revealed Himself to you.

The Bible says we love him because He first loved us.

"We love him, because he first loved us." (1John.4.19)

Said in another way, we couldn't love God even if we tried except He loved us first and as a result we then love Him. His love provokes a reciprocation from us. You know, as they say, if you smile at someone you get a smile back. Hmm🤔

"Are you going to continue this craziness? For only crazy people would think they could complete by their own efforts what was begun by God. If you weren't smart enough or strong enough to begin it, how do you suppose you could perfect it?" (Gal.3.3 MSG)

The Apostle Paul says it is crazy for people to think that by their effort they are going to complete what God began. He says, "if you weren't smart enough to begin it, how do you suppose you could perfect it?"

Hebrews helps us understand that it is Jesus who begins and it is Him who ends it. He is the author and the finisher. He begins and then He perfects what He began.

You did not initiate nor begin your salvation journey,  and you will not perfect it. It is God who is at work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. (See Phil:2:13)

Jesus speaking declared:

"I give them real and eternal life. They are protected from the Destroyer for good. No one can steal them from out of my hand." (John.10.28 MSG)

And have a great day today,
