The promise is in the seed

The all-knowing, all-wise, and all-powerful God knows the potential that is encapsulated in a seed. A seed is a powerful thing. Every seed is a journey in potential realization. One seed may differ from another in its genetic makeup and every seed has the potential to be a forest.

God had made a promise to Abraham and the promise was that he was going to be a father of many nations. Remember, Abraham was 75 years at this time and he does not have a child.

"Now the promises (covenants, agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir). He [God] does not say, And to seeds (descendants, heirs), as if referring to many persons, but, And to your Seed (your Descendant, your Heir), obviously referring to one individual, Who is [none other than] Christ (the Messiah). (Gal.3.16 Amp)

Now Abraham was the biological father of the Jewish people but for him to be the father of every nation, the seed is required. Because it is in the seed that the promise is fulfilled. There are only two races -the Jewish race and every other nation make up the none Jewish race- Gentiles. For Abraham to be a father of many nations, he has to be a father to the Gentiles too. And for this to happen, the seed was required. Jesus was the seed that made that possible. Everyone who accepts Jesus became Abraham's child and therefore fulfilled the promise.

Just as Abraham was only able to fulfill the promise in his seed so also every promise God has made to you is in seed form. Take that seed, plant it and see it grow to the fulfillment of your potential. Your promise is in the seed. Tremendous power is available in the seed. You could only see the seed, not what's in the seed. The seed has too much for the eyes to be able to comprehend all that is in it. The promise is in your seed.

Good day,
And have a great day today,
