Until the time appointed

Time is a very important ingredient in the fulfillment of purpose. Without time nothing worthwhile can be accomplished. Not until you embrace and collaborate with time, you will not accomplish your God-given purpose.

The good preacher tells us that to everything there is a time allotted. A time to be born and a time to die, a time to smile and a time to weep, a time to love and a time to hate (see Eccl:3) So time is allotted for the fulfillment of any purpose.

"But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father."(Gal.4.2)

What then is time? Time is a measured part of eternity. So God looked at all the possibilities and earmarked the amount of time required to accomplish them. It is now up to man to properly accord the necessary time to fulfill the vision.

Our text says a child though an heir cannot come into his own because he is a child - said in another way, because the right time has not yet come. He is required to grow up in preparation to own what is by right hIs. God expects you to grow into it so when the time appointed comes, you will be ready.

The fulfillment of your dream is dependent on two factors: one is your growth and, two, God's appointed time.

Jesus told the disciple that there was stuff he wanted to tell them but they were not ready -growth is required.

" I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. (John:16:12)

The psalmist tells us that the set time is appointed.

"Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come." (Ps.102.13 )

It is an appointment with destiny. Grow up to meet up with your appointment. The fulfillment of your dream is until the time appointed.
