Live creatively

This is a worthy admonition in this day and age we live in. And you would think it is a given, that one would live creatively. But here, the apostle reminds us to live creatively.

Creative is a term used in today's parlance to describe those who used their minds in such a way to create content of varying creative works. The Apostle Paul says to us to live creatively

"Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day's out." (Gal.6.1 MSG)

What does it mean to live creatively? Let's see some synonyms that will help us see the word creative differently: imaginative, clever, artistic, original, inventive, innovative, ingenious, inspired, visionary. To live creatively requires that you think and that you are flexible.

Thinking is a skill very few have come to master. The very nature of man presupposes that he was created as a thinking being. But most have abdicated this very innate ability for a less effective way of living. To live creatively you have to think, be imaginative.

The next attribute that will help you live creatively is to be flexible. Many of us are set in our ways. We do not make room whatsoever for alternatives. To be flexible means to be willing to do old things in a new or different way.  It also means to think a different thought. If you keep thinking in the same way you will keep producing the same outcome. To think differently requires that you be willing to feed your mind different materials. Think a different thought and produce a different way of doing things. Live creatively, friends.

Good day,
And have a great day today,
