Accepted in the beloved

It was Jesus who told us that anyone who came to God through him will in no wise be cast out.  That means acceptance in the sight of God Is found in Jesus Christ the son.

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John.6.37

This is one reason I know that I have been accepted by God because God accepts Jesus and if God accepts Jesus Christ and I am in him, then God accepts me.

"To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved." (Eph.1.6)

I am not trying to keep myself from falling. I live as responsible as possible as I can but the one who keeps and upholds me from falling is Christ Jesus. He says anyone who comes will not in any wise be cast out. I believe what the word of God says. Christ will not for any reason cast me out, all he requires of me is to come to him.

Paul says this is to the praise of the glory of his grace. When I am standing, it is not just in my honour, it is to the praise of God's glorious grace. My acceptance is not based on my deeds but the person of Jesus Christ. God accepts Jesus, I'm in Jesus, God accepts me. Praise the Lord!

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
