A new kind of human being

I thought the axiom, 'two shall become one" only applied to married couples. But I saw the reality of this truth in our text for today.

We know before now that there were two races before God - the Jews and the Gentiles, you are either one or the other. The one was a people that were close to God, chosen. And the other, those that were far from God. But when Jesus Christ came, He took of these two races and then created one race before God.

"He repealed the law code that had become so clogged with fine print and footnotes that it hindered more than it helped. Then he started over. Instead of continuing with two groups of people separated by centuries of animosity and suspicion, he created a new kind of human being, a fresh start for everybody." (Eph.2.15 MSG)

"Instead of continuing with two groups of people...he created a new kind of human being".

And guess what - you are that new kind of human being if you have accepted His sacrifice on the cross on your behalf.

It did not end there, He says a 'fresh start for everybody'.

I don't know where you have been, what you have done, what have, or what you don't have - you get a fresh start. Today is a good day to start again if you haven't.

"... God is ready to help you right now. Today is the day of salvation."(2Cor.6.2 NLT)

From these two groups, He created one new kind of human being and He became the head and we are the body. In this passage, I saw the body of Christ in a whole new light. You and I are the one new body under Christ.

You are a new kind of human being...

Good day,
And have a great day today,
