My Task

My task is to do what the day demands" a wise man once said. Tasks are an everyday challenge, well challenge may not be the right word but it will suffice. The task is the chores that cumulate into what the total of our lives become. Therefore, take your task seriously, attend to the most important task first, second most important ones next, keeping first things first.

Before the task is carried out in the open, very wise people know that there is first a behind the scene plan that takes place. It is not surprising then we first see God working behind the scenes.

"My task is to bring out in the open and make plain what God, who created all this in the first place, has been doing in secret and behind the scenes all along."(Eph.3.9)

This was a tag-team between God and the Apostle Paul. He was bringing out in the open what God was doing or did secretly behind the scenes. What God has been doing behind the scenes in the first place - so behind the scenes come before the bringing out task in the open.

Your life may not be on display right now, there may be areas of your life you are not able to even look at because it seems despicable, but I can assure you that God is working secretly behind the scenes to put your life on display for His glory.

It may not be your plan, but dig yourself in and do what the day demands of you - your task. Carry it out with equanimity, put your best foot forward even if it does not seem to amount to much. There is a God Who is working secretly behind the scenes of your life Who can merge the mess of your life against your task and come out with an amazing message. What is your task? What the day demands!

Good day,
And have a great day today,
