Actions by design

God is a God of design and a God of purpose. There is nothing He does that is by mistake. Every one of His actions is by design. And that design is to make the best out of the church of which you are a member. Everything He does and says is by design to bring the best out of you.

"Christ's love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her," (Eph.5.26 MSG )

I have come to know that the love of Christ for me always works out the best in and for me. The procedure and process may not be palatable but I am settled in my heart that it will work out the best for me. God is preparing me for the path and not just the path for me. There is a prepared path for me but as a God who knows the end from the beginning, He is preparing me for the prepared path.

If everything He does and says is designed to bring the best in me, it only follows that I will align myself with Him so that my words and deeds will also work towards bringing the best out of me. To do this, I must say what He says about me, think what He thinks about me, and do what I see Him do. Jesus said it like this "... The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." (John.5.19)

Actions by design, speaking by design, thinking by design. As I see in the Word I become in the world. God is a God of design therefore I am by design.

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
