The name of Jesus

"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name". (Phil.2.9 NKJV)

There is so much power in the name of Jesus the likes we have not experienced. We have not experienced it because we have not dared to put the name of Jesus to use. We have not because we ask not.

The name was given to us to use. To use in the place of prayer. Jesus told his disciples that up until now they have not asked anything in my name. He says ask and receive that your joy may be full.

"Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full". (John.16.24)

Jesus said ask and you will receive. Your receiving is premised on your asking and your joy being full on your receiving. It is clear that God's will for you is to receive what you ask of Him but it must be in the name of Jesus.

Our text tells us that God has given Him(Jesus) the name that is above all else. In the name of Jesus, answers are received in the place of prayers. The place of prayer is the place of asking. He says to ask that you may receive and that your joy may be full.

What would you dare to ask in the name of Jesus today? Remember, we have not because we ask not.
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you". (Matt.7.7) Ask in the name of Jesus...

Good day,
And have a great day today,
