The invisible God

How do you describe someone invisible? That may sound like an incorrect question. So let's rephrase the question. How do you describe an invisible concept or a virtual reality?

Any good teacher knows that when you want to introduce an unknown concept, you go from the know to the unknown. That way most students will be able to relate. That was what God did to us when He wanted to show us His invisible self. Jesus told his disciples, if you have seen me, you have seen the Father.

"Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?" (John.14.9)

The same truth is what the Apostle Paul explains here :

"We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God's original purpose in everything created". (Col.1.15)

To see God we have to see the son, and when we see the son we have seen the Father. To see the son is to see God who cannot be seen. And to see the son we have to look at the believer. The more of the son we see the more of God we see. To see is to know

And to see the son is to see the church. The church is made up of believers. Little wonder the Apostle Paul wrote:

"Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart". (2Cor.3.2-3)

For anyone to see the invisible God, they just need to see the visible you
