No charge against you

Every accused person always has a charge list that is brought against them. For mankind, our accuser is the devil. The Bible says he accuses us before the Father day and night.

"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night". (Rev.12.10)

The accuser is cast down. But that's not all. Yes, the devil is a liar and he accuses the brethren and some of the things he accuses you of, you may have done and as a result of may stand in judgment before God.

That's the reason Jesus came and died on your behalf so that he could set you free. In doing this, he canceled the record that contained the charges against you and he nailed them to the cross.

"He canceled the record that contained the charges against us. He took it and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ's cross". (Col.2.13)

Afterward, he destroyed it when he nailed it to the cross. You are free. No more charges against you. Walking in this freedom.

"For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemns us not, then have we confidence toward God". (1 John.3.20-21)

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
