Fulfill your ministry

Everyone will on that day be asked if they fulfilled the ministry that God has committed to their hands. There are many doctors today that are supposed to be preachers and there are many preachers that are supposed to be business people. Are you doing what God has committed into your hands?

"And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it". (Col.4.17)

Take heed, be sure, and see to it that you do your best regarding the ministry that you have received. A lot of people have left their ministry because they feel it is not glamorous enough, others believe it will not put food on the table. But whatsoever God commands, He sustains.

Many who are supposed to raise children are running helter-skelter working nine to five. I am not saying you can't do both. I believe that's why our text says, take heed to the ministry that you have received that you fulfill it. It is bad enough that some are not fulfilling their ministry, it is even worse that, most do not know that they have a ministry to fulfill.

Ask the Lord and He will tell you. Maybe the reason most do not know is that they have not asked. Paul says to the Lord, what would you have me do?

"And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do." (Acts.9.6)

While you are trying to figure out what it is God wants you to do, this scripture will help you

"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goes". (Eccl.9.10)

Good day,
And have a great day today,
