All of God's best be yours

One reason the Apostle Paul admonished us to renew our minds is to bring them to begin to think at the frequency of God's word. Not until that happens and continues to happen, we will not be able to walk in all of God's best for our lives.

The word of God contains all the promises of God for our lives, it contains all of God's best for us. And if we do not know what the word says, we cannot think of it or in it. Our mind is one of God's greatest gifts to us. How we use it will either be a  gift to us or otherwise. It is with the mind that we serve God (see Rom:7:25) so we must learn to use our mind in such a way that it serves God's purpose for our lives. Some people have used their minds and think themselves into depression. They focus only on the negatives. Little wonder they are the way they are.

"I'm writing this to you, Timothy, my son in the faith. All the best from our God and Christ be yours!" (1Tim.1.2)

The Apostle Paul says all the best from God and Christ are ours to enjoy. But if we do not keep these best in our minds in constant reminders, and consistently think about them we may not be able to walk in them. We must always think of God's best for our lives. Like the Prodigal son, he could have continued to wallow in self-pity but he used his mind and reasoned himself back into the center of God's will for himself. He kept it positive. Use your mind to your advantage. Keep God's word in your mind and use it to activate all of God's best for your life.
