Live a life of faith

The kind of food one eats determines the growth one experiences. The same is true for the physical as well as the spiritual. If you eat a well-balanced diet, you will grow properly but if not, then growth is stunted. Living a life of faith stems first from the kind of spiritual instructions or food one gets.

Who is cooking your food? Who prepares what you eat? There are chefs and there are chefs. And every one a master at their game but no one compares to the greatest teacher of them all - the Holy Ghost. Jesus says when he is come he will teach you all things.

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (John.14.26)

The problem is some are hung on what this leader says and what that leader said but what is the Holy Ghost saying?

"Don't let people waste time in endless speculation over myths and spiritual pedigrees. For these things only cause arguments; they don't help people live a life of faith in God." (1Tim.1.4)

From this verse, we can tell that we do ourselves a great disservice if we do not get what helps us live a life of faith in God. Learn to hear God for yourself. The Holy Spirit is always present to teach but how often are we willing to learn from Him? We argue over endless speculations, myths with no facts and figures, and how good or better one person is over the other when we should be helping people live a life of faith in God. You can experience more of God by learning to live a life of faith in God but to live a life of faith in God you need a closer walk with the person of the Holy Spirit. He is always present to teach, guide, help, etc but you have to reach out to Him, whisper to Him, talk with Him, fellowship with Him in the place of worship, prayer, and study of the word and He shall guide you into all truth that will help you live a life of faith in God.
