DIY

"But mostly, show them all this by doing it yourself, incorruptible in your teaching, (Titus.2.7 MSB)

Christianity is a relationship that you "do" for yourself, so it is a DIY (Do It Yourself)

Christianity is a belief, but it is much more. It is a relationship; yes, it is not passive, but active. It is not a name you bear or a religion you fill out on a form. It is a relationship that you not only cultivate but also maintain through the help of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus says by this shall all men know that you are my disciples if you love one another. To love is a do-it-yourself activity. No one can "Love" for you. No one can "Pray" for you, no one can "Praise" for you, no one can "Do it for you". You have to do it yourself.

God is waiting for you to cultivate the fellowship. He wants a relationship with you. James tells us "draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.

"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." (Jas.4.8)

I like The Message translation of this verse. It says, "Say a quiet yes to God and He will be there in no time..."

"Say a quiet yes to God and he'll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. (Jas.4.8 MSB)

There is no distance in the spirit, God is as close as a mention of His name. Say a quiet yes to Him and He'll be right there with you.

I am saying yes... Yes Lord, yes to You, yes to Your ways.

Good day,
Have a great day today,
