Build according to the pattern

"Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount." (Heb:8:5)

We all live according to a pattern, knowingly or unknowingly. We are creatures of habits, some are more deliberate than others. The more deliberate you are, the more likely you will achieve your goals. 

Our text reveals that God also has patterns. Patterns He wants us to conform our lives to. So He says to Moses, make sure you build according to the pattern you were shown. That tells us that God has patterns for our lives. Build according to your pattern and not another's. 

The Apostle Paul says it this way, "I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.  

"Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision" (Acts.26.19)

To create patterns, create habits based on God's word and then build your life, your family, and your business, according to that pattern. Be deliberate, be intentional, and build according to the pattern.

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
