Getting God's well done

"Parched ground that soaks up the rain and then produces an abundance of carrots and corn for its gardener gets God's "Well done!" (Heb.6.7 MSB)

Our text brings to mind the parable Jesus gave about a fig tree that was taking up so much space and was not producing fruits, the owner wanted it cut down but the gardener requested that he be given the chance to dig around and dung the fg tree and if after that it still doesn't produce, then it can be cut down. (See Luke:13:6-9)

Hebrew 6 opened with the principles, the elementary of the doctrine or teachings of Christ. Then verses three to six, began to talk about those who have tasted the good word of God, tasted the heavenly gifts, and made partakers of the Holy Ghost. (See Hebrew:6:3-6)

And then in verse 7, it says a dry ground, that receives enough rainfall and then produces abundance will receive the Lord's well done. What shows the difference between a person who receives enough rain and a person who draws back and does not produce fruit, is the fruits.

What are you producing with the rain - gifts, talents, word of God that you have received? Will you get the Lord's well done? Produce fruit so that you will get the Lord's well done.
