God himself is Fire!

"He's actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won't quit until it's all cleansed. God himself is Fire!" (Heb.12.29 MSB)

You cannot come in contact with God and remain the same. When you encounter God something has to give. The presence of God in a man's life is visible through the changes that people see. 

Why is that?

God is actively cleaning house. Your spirit is the house where God's spirit lives. 1 Cor.6.19 says "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"

He is constantly tinkering with you, bringing out the best version of you. Our text says "He won't quit until all is cleansed." 

That is why we must all recognize that we are all works in progress. Everyone is not making progress at the same pace. Some are faster than others but as long as you recognize that He is the one at work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. 

"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." (Phil.2.13)
 
This will take the pressure away from you. As long as you stay heeded and obedient, you will turn out alright. 

God Himself is fire and He is torching all that needs to burn and He won't quit until it is all cleansed

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
