Try to live in peace with everyone 

"Try to live in peace with everyone, and seek to live a clean and holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord." (Heb.12.14 NLT)

Peace is not the absence of conflicts but the presence of justice. Try to live in peace with everyone. 

Everyone? Yes!

I know that is a tall order, right? But if God is not tall, I do not know what else He is. 

God will always set the bar higher so that you will continue to stretch and reach further and in so doing you get better. 

Peace is a vital asset. Without it, growth is almost impossible. But we know that there are difficult people to deal with, hence we were enjoined to "try to live in peace with everyone  and seek to live a clean and holy life"

It should be noted that to "Follow peace with everyone", does not mean the same thing as "pleasing everyone". Trying to please everyone is a recipe for disaster. Being peaceful sometimes means being firm and resolute. But if it depends on you for peace to prevail, do all you can to make it happen. 

"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. (Rom.12.18 NIV)

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
