No write-offs in God

No write-offs in God

"My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered off from God's truth, don't write them off. Go after them. Get them back (Jas.5.19 MSB)

The way some Christians act towards others in the body of Christ, how they antiagonize, criticize and badmouth other believers, It Is either they have not read this text, or they chose to ignore it. If you hear some of us speak you would think that the people they speak about are total write-offs.

Our text says to not write-off anyone, especially those who have wandered off from God's truth. When a person falls, fails or faulters that is not the time to isolate them, make them feel unworthy and unwanted. Rather, that is the time to draw them closer. It is the sick that has need for a physician.

Our text says, Go after them, get them back. Little wonder Paul kept praying that Christ be formed in the Galatians.

"My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you" (Gal.4.19)

We should not allow to be lost, any sheep that has wandered away. Jesus left the ninety-nine and went after that one wandering sheep and would not rest until it was found. If Jesus did this, you can and shouldn't do anything less.

"How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray." (Matt.18.12 -13)

In God there are no write-offs, if God has not given up on you, you owe it to yourself not to give up now, not on yourself or anyone else.

Have a great day today,
