We're surnamed God

We're surnamed God

"See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him. (1John.3.1AMP)

I have called you by thy name, you are mine is the way the Prophet Isaiah communicated this truth. John tells us that because of the incredible quality of love the Father has shown us, we are permitted to be named as children of God. If we are children of God, then we are surnamed God.

"But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine." (Isa.43.1)

You are surnamed God. John tells us that we are the children of God. And as children of God, we are called after the name of our Father. We are adopted into the family of God. And God is our Father.

The way God adopted us is through the irresistible love that He demonstrated through Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the cross, that was God's love in action. We are born into the family of God. Therefore, If any man be in Christ is born anew.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2Cor.5.17)

As new creatures, we have the life and nature of God. God's DNA is inscribed in our DNA. And as children of God, only our Father has the right to christen us. He says I have called you by name, you are mine. You belong to God by birth and by adoption.  That's why you can manifest as God's children.

Who is your father?

I am the son of the King... And I know who I am. I am surnamed God.

Good day,
Have a great day today,
