The reason Jesus was manifested

The reason Jesus was manifested

" [But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done]. (1John.3.8 AMP)

The gospel according to John draws a contrast between Jesus Christ and the devil. He told us the threefold agenda of the devil and gave an antidote. He says the devil came to steal, kill, and destroy but that he has come as the antidote to killing, stealing, and destroying. He came so you may have life, more life, and abundant life and this life is in Him.

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."(John.10.10)

But in the Epistle according to John, he further shows us that Jesus Christ was made manifest to destroy the works of the devil. The primary work of the devil is to make human sin. He says he came to undo the works of the devil. He came to "undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil has done. John 10:10 tells us that after the works of the devil have been destroyed, we are to enjoy life, more life, and abundant life forever.

This life is the Godkind of life, free of sickness and death. Jesus came so that we may have that life. Do you have it?

Good day,
Have a great day today,
