The first, the last and everything in-between

God is not just the beginning and the ending but He is also everything in-between. That means he may begin with you and in between where he began and where he ends, God is still in charge of all the in-between. 

That means it may not be palatable in the in-between but remember that God is still and will always be with you. The three Hebrew boys knew him as the God of the in-between and as such were able to go in the fire knowing that He will have the last say in their matter. 

Most have known God as the beginning, as the A but are yet to know him when the going gets rough and tough. When we encounter constrains and challenges we are quick to question God's faithfulness. God is the A to Z but He is also the God who is about to arrive, even though He never left you, when he began with you. 

As the God of the in-between, God sustains us in difficult and trying times. He stays with us in trouble. He never leaves us, though it may appear as if he abandons us. God is the beginning and the end but He is also everything in the in-between. You can trust Him when you can't trace Him. He is  trustworthy.

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
