We overcome by the blood

We overcome by the blood 

"And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]." (Rev.12.11 AMP)

There are many ways by which the believer overcomes, but principally by the blood and the word which we see from this passage of scripture. 

There is so much power in the blood of the lamb. One reason for this, is the fact that the blood of the sinless lamb is a representation of the very essence of the life of God in Christ Jesus. So when we present the blood we present the same power that makes God, God. The devil has no answer to the blood because the only thing that gives the devil a foothold is sin and the blood is sinless. 

Th word of God is another source of our victory. God's word is God Himself. The Psalmist actually tells us that God has magnified his word above all his name 

"I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name." (Ps.138.2) 

There is power in the word. Jesus showed us how to use it against the devil. Every time the fevil showed up, He just replied with "It is written". The centurion understood this when he told Jesus "Just speak the word and my servant would made whole "

"The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." (Matt.8.8) 

By the blood and by the word, we always overcome. And they are at your disposal, use them.

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
