You shall be helped

You shall be helped

"And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth." (Rev.12.14 - 16)

That God will aways protect His purpose on the earth is without doubt. And because He would often work through humans to carry out His purpose, He will protect the person through whom that purpose will be carried out.

Our text tells of the woman who gave birth to male child and how the dragon sought to kill this woman but God used even the elements to protect and preserve the woman. The woman was given wings to fly into the wilderness. Interestingly in the wilderness, she finds nourishment. The Bible calls it her place. When you come into your place, everything you need you will find. Even nourishment in a desert place.

Furthermore, the serpent sent out a flood from its mouth that it may carry the woman away but the earth helped the woman. The earth opened her mouth and swallowed up flood.

You will be helped and your help will come from unexpected places. The earth was not meant to help the woman but because the purpose of God was involved, she helped the woman. This week may you receive help from unexpected quarters. May favour surrounds you as a shield. You shall be helped even as you come into your place.

Good day,
Have a great day today,
