Do it again

Do it again

"Adam slept with his wife again. She had a son whom she named Seth. She said, "God has given me another child in place of Abel whom Cain killed." (Gen.4.25l

Worse than giving up is never trying. A lot people end up as failures not because they tried and failed but from the fear of failure. Some people do not even have the courage to try. How does one win in a game one never plays? Others are where they are because they tried once and failed and they told themselves, "never again". Sometimes, success will require you to do it more than once.

The story is told of how the Master laid hands on a blind man but the man reported that he saw men as trees and the Master had to lay hands on him the second time.

"And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.  After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. (Mark.8.22-25)

Our text emphasized the fact that Adam slept with his wife again. The word again being the operative word, just as Jesus had to put his hands again upon the blind man's eyes. You may be required to do that thing again, take that exam again, try that project again. You are not a failure except you stopped trying. Do it again.

Good day,
Have a great day today,
