Men and women began worshiping God 

"And then Seth had a son whom he named Enosh. That's when men and women began praying and worshiping in the name of God" (Gen.4.26) 

If Adam and Eve had refused to try again (see Gen:4:25), we probably would not know what it means to pray and worship in the name of God. The Bible says it was after their son Seth, whom most people do not know by the way, had a son, that men and women began to pray and worship in the name of God. 

I do not know what that means for you but one thing is certain and that is, for some things to happen, other things must first happen. It is more like a chain reaction. People say everything happen for a reason, some times, we attach the reasons we want to things that happen. But in life, there is a God reason, a good reason and a self reason. God reason is the primary purpose why that thing should happen and it is most times good but self reason is the  reason we attach to the things that happened. 

The birth of Seth's son gave men and women reason to look up to God once again. To restore the fellowship that once existed in the Garden of Eden. It is my prayer that you will have reasons to draw nearer God at all times. May it not be for self reason, good reason but for God reason so that God's purpose concern you will stand. Amen

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
