God is mindful of you

God is mindful of you

"And that's the story: When God destroyed the Cities of the Plain, he was mindful of Abraham and first got Lot out of there before he blasted those cities off the face of the Earth." (Gen.19.29)

I have prayed and heard others praying too, that God will do for us all we have asked for and even those we did not remember to ask for. But some people will think that God will not do such "things" we did not remember to prayer for.

Scripture says we should ask and that's true but scripture also says that God will do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.(see Eph:3:20) Those things we did not remember to ask for fall into the category of exceedingly abundantly above all ...

And that was the case in our text. Abraham wanted Lot and family saved but did not remember to specifically tell God to save them rather he said:

"He wouldn't quit, "Don't get angry, Master--this is the last time. What if you only come up with ten? For the sake of only ten, I won't destroy the city."(Gen.18.32)

But God did not find ten righteous people in Sodom so he destroyed it. But our text says that God "was mindful of Abraham and first got Lot out of there before he blasted those cities off the face of the Earth."

Do not think for one nano or millisecond that God is not mindful of you. He got Lot out of there before he destroyed the cities. The mind of God is full of you - you fill God's mind. He is constantly and consistently thinking of ways to favour you. Jeremiah tells us that much. (see Jer: 28:11, Rom:8:28) Will you align and cooperate with him?

"What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? (Ps.8.4 KJV)

Good day,
Have a great day today,
