I have yielded to your entreaty

I have yielded to your entreaty 

"And [the angel] said to him, See, I have yielded to your entreaty concerning this thing also; I will not destroy this city of which you have spoken."(Gen.19.21 AMP)

It is amazing the tremendous amount of power we have when we speak up. Many a destiny is lost because many refuse to open their mouth and speak. 

A whole city was marked for destruction but because a man opened up his mouth and made  case not even for the city but for himself as it relates to the city, the mark of destruction placed in the city was lifted. The angel said, "I have yielded to your entreaty concerning this thing also". But imagine that he did not speak up, he would never have known the joy of an answered prayer, the joy of a yes. 

What is your situation about, open your mouth and whisper to God. He is a whisper away from you and He is not only able, He is also willing to hear you as well and answer you so that your joy my be full. 

"Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." (John.16.24)

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Who makes me who I am

An Isoko adage says, "the name you call yourself is what others will call you. Meeting students, I have had cause to ask them if that was the name their parents named them and they say no. My real name is...and then they tell me. But whatever they call themselves is what other students call them. You are who you say you are, but the truth is, you act the way you become because you think that's who you are. So if you called yourself a policeman when you are a soldier, you will act as a policeman. If you are an eagle but call yourself a chicken, then you will act like a chicken. If you call yourself a failure, that's what you begin to act as. Little wonder, Jabez changed his name in the place of prayer, he declared that he is blessed and God granted his prayers.
