It is not over until you win

It is not over until you win

"So Sarai, Abram's wife, took her Egyptian maid Hagar and gave her to her husband Abram as a wife. Abram had been living ten years in Canaan when this took place." (Gen. 16.3)

Abraham had lived in Canaan, the land of promise, for complete ten years and Sarai his wife was still without a child. If you know anything about numbers, you'll understand that we only have 0 to 9 and with this combination we can make any number we wish. And the number ten shows a form completion.

It was as if Sarai had given God ten years in the land o f promise, hoping and trusting God to come through but when after ten years she still didn't have a child, she decided that maybe bearing children was not for her. So she decided to give Hagar, her maid as wife to Abraham in order to raise children for her.

I do not know if you have reckon your situation to be over, If you have given up on God, thinking his promises to you have failed, I'm here to tell you that it is not over until you win. Do not act out of character or like Sarai, do something you know you should not do because God Who promised is faithful to perform it. It is not over until you win.

"GOD visited Sarah exactly as he said he would; GOD did to Sarah what he promised: Sarah became pregnant and gave Abraham a son in his old age, and at the very time God had set."(Gen.21.1-2)

Do not allow situations and circumstances to sway you. Hold on to the confession of your faith, God is faithful to perform His promise.

" Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Heb.10.23 NKJV)

Good day,
Have a great day today,
