Hate don't stop us

"He had another dream and told this one also to his brothers: "I dreamed another dream--the sun and moon and eleven stars bowed down to me!" (Gen.37.9) 

Hate don't stop us. Hate is a negative emotion, it motivate a lot of people to do the wrong thing. You can hardly do the right thing motivated by hate. Hate don't motivate us and hate don't stop us. 

The story of Joseph is a clear example for us. He had a dream for which his brother hated him. For some, the hate of others would have been reason enough to not dream again, to quit. People have stopped laudable projects because some other people are not with them on it or because they do not see to eye on the matter. 

Like Joseph you must not let their hate stop you. You may say, "well it is not hate per se, but they do not encourage me or they do not believe in me". Do not let them stop you. As long as you know that God is in it with you. 

The Apostle Paul says it this way: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Rom.12.21 NIV)

We must not let evil overcome us but we must overcome evil with good, overcome hate with love, overcome sadness with joy. Hate don't stop us

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. "Law man" or God's man

The law in one sense was a defective reflection of God. It reflected who God is; though not a perfect reflection. The law says don't steal, God does not steal. The law says do not lie, God does not lie, etc. But there was more to God that law could not show or give to us. As a result, God has given us His grace. His grace was not just a reflection of Himself but was God Himself. The law would should you what to do but could not grant you the ability to do it but grace did not just show you, He did it for us. The essence of the law was to satisfy God but grace came and did that on behalf of mankind. The reason why the Apostle says here that he quiets being a 'law man' but instead became God's man "What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn't work.
