God is telling Pharaoh(you) what to do

Joseph said to Pharaoh, "Pharaoh's two dreams both mean the same thing. God is telling Pharaoh what he is going to do." (Gen.41.25) 

Joseph said to Pharaoh, God is telling you what He is going to do. This is very instructive because this is what is happening in our world today. 

God is speaking to the world about what He is going to do but the world haven't a clue what God is saying. And unlike Pharaoh, the world is not making any effort to understand what God is saying. 

For Pharaoh to understand, he had to listen to Joseph. Our text says, "Joseph said to Pharaoh... " What is God telling you today? What God is telling you may be in the mouth or in the voice of your Pastor. Or better said, the interpretation or confirmation of what God is saying to you may be in the mouth of your Pastor or a leader over you   

Samuel heard the voice of God and assumed it was Eli's voice. You would probably hear God's voice through the voice of your Pastor. But God is not limited to speaking to you through a proxy. Jesus told Peter that flesh and blood did not reveal this to you (see Matt 18). That is where God wants to graduate you to. A place where you can hear God for yourself. To get there you have to grow your spirit through a constant fellowship with the Father through the Holy Spirit in the place of study of the world and prayers. 

God is not only telling Pharaoh what He wants to do, He is also telling you what He wants to do. The question is, can you hear Him? It boggles the mind that God did not reveal this to Jacob - one who wrestled with God and prevailed or even to Joseph who has the interpretation but to Pharaoh. I wonder what God is telling you today?

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Keep reaching

My message to you today is straightforward, keep reaching. Whatever you have achieved is behind, there is still more ahead, stretch, reach, there is more ahead. God has more in store for you. Paul says I count not myself to have apprehended. In other words, I have come a long way, I have seen this and seen that but there is more ahead. Everything behind me is behind, I'm forgetting those things and reaching forward. If your most impressive achievements yesterday are what you're talking about today, you know you need to reach. "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before" (Phil.3.13) This is one thing I do... forgetting those things which are behind.
