You are the man for the job 

"So Pharaoh said to Joseph, "You're the man for us. God has given you the inside story--no one is as qualified as you in experience and wisdom."(Gen.41.39)

Others tend to see the gifts, talents and abilities in you before you see them. While Joseph proposed for a wise man be found to run the affairs of Egypt, Pharaoh spotted him and said to him, 'You are the man for the job". 

I have come to say to you that you are the man for the job. You have the solution to the problem, you have the answer to the question, you are the man for the job. Do not belittle your God given abilities. God has given you the inside story - there are things you know, abilities you have, skills you possess - all of these are God endorsement on you. 

The Bible tells the story of the mighty man of valour that was in hiding, threshing wheat in a winepress. Because his situation and surrounding suggested otherwise to him. But the angel of God saw him differently, proclaiming him a mighty man of valour. With his skills and abilities he could deliver the whole of Israel but he was in hiding. You are the man for the job, go in this your strength and you shall deliver on the job. 

"But GOD faced him directly: "Go in this strength that is yours. Save Israel from Midian. Haven't I just sent you?" (Judg.6.14)

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. Sin entered the world, and death came as a result of sin. It appears that mankind was doomed.  But Jesus came and served the punishment for sin and in so doing, He solved the sin problem for good. Now mankind has access once again to the Father. Now everything the Father has for us is at our disposal. Keep reaching

My message to you today is straightforward, keep reaching. Whatever you have achieved is behind, there is still more ahead, stretch, reach, there is more ahead. God has more in store for you. Paul says I count not myself to have apprehended. In other words, I have come a long way, I have seen this and seen that but there is more ahead. Everything behind me is behind, I'm forgetting those things and reaching forward. If your most impressive achievements yesterday are what you're talking about today, you know you need to reach. "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before" (Phil.3.13) This is one thing I do... forgetting those things which are behind.
