Let my people go...

Let my people go...

"Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: "Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness."' (Exod.5.1)

The bible is replete with types and shadows. Pharaoh speaks of taskmaster that held the children of Israel in a captivity for 400 years. Pharaoh was so powerful Moses was scared to go before him. When God told him to go before Pharaoh he asked God, "Who am I that I should go before Pharaoh? Pharaoh was  like the number one citizen of the world, he was powerful.

But after Moses gained insight into who he truly was, he went before Pharaoh and demanded the release of his people from Egyptian slavery. We see him in our text, in the company of his brother Aaron. He did not speak his own words but God's word. He spoke God's word to the Pharaoh of slavery "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: Let My people go"

I don't know what Pharaoh has held you down and what kind of captivaty you're in. Pharaohs of poverty, Pharaohs of wrong mindset, Pharaohs of wrong friends, Pharaohs of bad habits and unforgiveness, Pharaohs of low self esteem and intimidation, whatever the Pharaohs is, it let's you go right now. Speak God's word to that Pharaoh, Let my business go, Let my marriage go, Let my children go,, Let my money, Let my spouse go.

And since it is not your own words but God's words you've spoken, the word will go and accomplish the purpose for which it was sent. May every thing that represent a Pharaoh in your life, let you go today in Jesus name.

Good day,
Have a great day today,
Emmanluel Okoro,
