God will go ahead of you 

"GOD went ahead of them in a Pillar of Cloud during the day to guide them on the way, and at night in a Pillar of Fire to give them light; thus they could travel both day and night." (Exod.13.21) 

Many believers read through this magnificent experience and wished they were a part of it. But they fail to recognise that the God who went ahead of Israel as a Pillar of Cloud during the day to guild them on their way, and as a Pillar of Fire at night to give them light resides on the inside of them. 

I want you to take a moment to let that truth sink in and then truly appreciate and acknowledge this truth by saying it aloud to yourself: "The Pillar of Cloud by day and the Pillar of Fire by night lives on the inside of me in the person of the Holy Spirit."

God is not just on the inside of you but has also gone ahead of you so that you will have both the advantage of relating with Him and fellowshiping with Him. God has gone ahead of you but He also resides in you so you, like the children of Israel could travel both day and night. 

Be encouraged that God has gone ahead of you and that irrespective of the challenge you will face or face right now He is there to help you in the time of need. God has gone ahead of you. 

"I'll go ahead of you, clearing and paving the road. I'll break down bronze city gates, smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances. I'll lead you to buried treasures, secret caches of valuables-- Confirmations that it is, in fact, I, GOD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name." (isa. 45.2-3)

Birth rights for sale  "One day Jacob was cooking a stew. Esau came in from the field, starved. Esau said to Jacob, "Give me some of that red stew--I'm starved!" That's how he came to be called Edom (Red). Jacob said, "Make me a trade: my stew for your rights as the firstborn." Esau said, "I'm starving! What good is a birthright if I'm dead?" Jacob said, "First, swear to me." And he did it. On oath Esau traded away his rights as the firstborn." (Gen.25.29-33).  Life has taught us to trade what we have for what we want or need.
