Your in-between place
Your in-between place
"And why did you take us out of Egypt in the first place, dragging us into this miserable country? No grain, no figs, no grapevines, no pomegranates--and now not even any water!" (Num.20.5)
God is not unmindful of your needs. God Who told David that he shall not want because He is David's shepherd, (see Ps. 23.1) knows your needs need meeting. But He let you gets into the in-between place just to see how you would react towards Him or His promises.
The children of Israel began to cry and complain against God and Moses saying - "No grain, no figs, no grapevine, no pomegranate - and now not even water." God told Moses what to do to meet the need of the people for water but in another sense ignored the cry for the other things. Because He knew that the need for water was a legitimate need. Not one of them could produce water. And the other things they cried out for requires a process of seed, time and then harvest and that, if they plant these things, they will get a harvest.
Therefore He spoke to Moses to speak to the rock and get water for the people of Israel out of the rock. Your in-between place is a place of test and trials, it is a place where there is no water to quench your teste. You are in-between jobs, in-between cars, in-between marriage etc. Whatever is your in-between, God is able to meet you there and speak to a rock to produce that thing but you need to trust Him. Keep speaking...dont be quiet about it. Speak first to God and then speak to the situation. God meets you at your in-between place. Amen
Good day,
