Present your case before God

"They came to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. They stood before Moses and Eleazar the priest and before the leaders and the congregation and said, "Our father died in the wilderness. He wasn't part of Korah's rebel anti-GOD gang. He died for his own sins. And he left no sons. But why should our father's name die out from his clan just because he had no sons? So give us an inheritance among our father's relatives." (Num.27.2 - 4)

The daughters of Zelophehad came to Moses and Eleazer the High Priest, and presented their case despite the prevailing customs of the people. They said, "Why should our father's name die out from his clan just because he had no sons?"

You must understand that the Israelites did not give inheritance to daughters before now, but only to sons. And these daughters, whose father had died in the wilderness, saw that their father's name was going to die out because he had no sons; they went and presented their case to Moses.

There are certain issues in our lives that we must present before God. Moses himself didn't have an answer for them; he had to take them to God. And God sided with the women.

"GOD ruled: "Zelophehad's daughters are right. Give them land as an inheritance among their father's relatives. Give them their father's inheritance. (Num.27.6 -7)

If we do not interrogate those issues, they remain the same. What are the issues in your life that need interrogation? If you do not ask the question, there will be no answer. If you do not try, you won't know. Talk to God about it, especially if you can find it in God's word. Present your case before God.

Worse than giving up is never trying.
