Stewardship of God's grace


Everyone is given something to be of service to humanity. We are all put here to serve a cause. What are you steward over? What caused do you serve?

The eyes were made to see, the ear to hear, the hands to handle and the feet to walk. So everyone serves a purpose. Not everyone finds this purpose on time. Some have missed their timing, others have misused theirs, yet others are in the center of their stewardship.

"Assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God 's grace (His unmerited favor) that was entrusted to me [to dispense to you] for your benefit," (Eph.3.2 Amp.)

The Apostle Paul says his own was the stewardship of Grace. He is blessed to distribute the grace of God. Little wonder it was the Apostle Paul that exposed to the church the workings of the grace of God. When you look at his life you see exemplary representations of the grace of God.

This was entrusted to him. I am not going to ask if God can trust you with something but I'd rather ask what you are doing with what God has entrusted you with. This is because I know that God has entrusted you with something.

Your strengths and your opportunities are God's gift to you; what you do with them is your gift to God. If you are hands, handle. If you are eyes, see. If you are ear, hear. Whatever you are, just make sure you are a good steward in that regard.

Finally, make sure that whatever God has entrusted to you is for the benefit of mankind. Speaking to the Ephesian Paul says to them: "for your benefit". Whatever God entrusted you with is for the benefit of others. Don't be selfish with it. It is for the benefit of others.

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem

Jesus is the answer to the sin problem  "When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good--not only ours, but the whole world's". (1John.1.2 MSB) When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, the sin passed through them to all men. And so the Bible recorded that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Rom.5.12)  But that was just the beginning of the story. "Law man" or God's man

The law in one sense was a defective reflection of God. It reflected who God is; though not a perfect reflection. The law says don't steal, God does not steal. The law says do not lie, God does not lie, etc. But there was more to God that law could not show or give to us. As a result, God has given us His grace. His grace was not just a reflection of Himself but was God Himself. The law would should you what to do but could not grant you the ability to do it but grace did not just show you, He did it for us. The essence of the law was to satisfy God but grace came and did that on behalf of mankind. The reason why the Apostle says here that he quiets being a 'law man' but instead became God's man "What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn't work.
