Think win-win

It's been said that there are three possible outcomes in every negotiation, viz-a-viz win-lose, lose-lose and win-win. The best is the win-win option. In this case, everyone gets what they want. Think win-win at all times

And this is always possible if we all learn to concede for the greater good every once in a while and think not only of the other person but also the overall good. If we learn to look past just ourselves, then think of the other person.

"The mystery is that people who have never heard of God and those who have heard of him all their lives (what I've been calling outsiders and insiders) stand on the same ground before God. They get the same offer, same help, same promises in Christ Jesus. The Message is accessible and welcoming to everyone, across the board". (Eph.3.6 MSG)

Once there were insiders and outsiders but with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, He bridged the gap so that everyone wins. Now there are no insiders, neither are they, outsiders, rather we all now have the same standing before God. Everyone "gets the same offer, same help, same promises in Christ Jesus".

It doesn't matter whether you are free or bound, Jew or Gentile, insider or outsider. God thought win-win and we are all standing on the same ground before God. And we all stand as winners. Think of the feelings of others, think of their welfare, think win-win and we will all win.

Jesus said to treat others as you would have them treat you.

"Here is a simple rule of thumb for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you; then grab the initiative and do it for them!" (Luke.6.31 msg)

Note, that, it is not to treat others the way they treat you - which is the way most people have interpreted that passage. Meaning I won't greet him if he doesn't greet me. But rather treat others the way you want them to treat you. If you expect someone to say hi, then you say hi. If you expect someone to be a blessing, then you be a blessing. If you expect someone to visit you, then you visit them. It says whatever way "you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them!" (Luke.6.31 msg) Always think win-win.

And have a great day today,
