Supportive spouse
Supportive spouse
"Any wealth that God has seen fit to return to us from our father is justly ours and our children's. Go ahead. Do what God told you." (Gen.31.16)
To say to one's spouse, "Do what God told you", is one of the greatest forms of support one can get from one's spouse. The bibles says the two shall be one -
"As the Scriptures say, "A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one." (Eph.5.31)
So that the husband and the wife, though two personalities, begin to think as one. Not that they think one thought but that they are able to harmonize their thoughts, that they now think as one. It is on this premise that one spouse can say to the other, "Do what God told you".
But if the husband and wife do not see eyes to eyes, how can they have the meetings of the mind? How can they agree with God if they do not agree with themselves? And this agreement is very important that Jesus says if two shall agree on Earth as touching anything, it shall be done for them. The power of two agreeing is further buttress by the sayings in the scriptures, "one shall put a thousand to flight, but two ten thousands"
"How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?" (Deut.32.30)
Support your spouse, that way your result is amplified.
Good day,
Have a great day today,
