Climb the mountain to GOD 

"He said to Moses, "Climb the mountain to GOD, you and Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. They will worship from a distance; only" (Exod.24.1) 

Moses was not a young man, we know that when he ran from Egypt he was forty years old and by the time he returned to Egypt as a deliverer, it was forty year after. So he was over eighty years old by this time he was required to climb this mountain to God. And he was not only willing but was also obedient 

What mountain are you climbing to get to God? What sacrifice are you putting in? Moses and his colleagues were willing to climb that mountain. You too must be willing to climb your mountain. 

Everyone's mountain may be different but you must be willing to put in the time and effort to get to God. In our day and age, God is not far from us and the mountain is not physical. The Bible says... 

"... Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; (Rom.10.6-8)

Your mountain today may not be physical but you must be willing to put in the time to climb it; in the place of prayer, study of the word, be willing to evangelislze. Are you willing to put in the time to climb your mountain, whatever that mountain may be? Climb your mountain... GOD will you there.

Daily ration, daily routine  "GOD said to Moses, "I'm going to rain bread down from the skies for you. The people will go out and gather each day's ration. I'm going to test them to see if they'll live according to my Teaching or not. On the sixth day, when they prepare what they have gathered, it will turn out to be twice as much as their daily ration." (Exod.16.4 - 5) What you do daily determine what you become permanently. God had told the children of Israel that he was going set up rules and procedures for them to follow. In this day and age, we would have said structures and systems but rules and procedures communicate the same intentions.  So God says to Moses in response to the complaint against God about not having enough to eat. "Law man" or God's man

The law in one sense was a defective reflection of God. It reflected who God is; though not a perfect reflection. The law says don't steal, God does not steal. The law says do not lie, God does not lie, etc. But there was more to God that law could not show or give to us. As a result, God has given us His grace. His grace was not just a reflection of Himself but was God Himself. The law would should you what to do but could not grant you the ability to do it but grace did not just show you, He did it for us. The essence of the law was to satisfy God but grace came and did that on behalf of mankind. The reason why the Apostle says here that he quiets being a 'law man' but instead became God's man "What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn't work.
