God's Word Will Not Fail

God’s Word Will Not Fail

“Not one word failed from all the good words GOD spoke to the house of Israel. Everything came out right.”  (Joshua 21:45)

God can be trusted because He is trustworthy. When He speaks, He is not guessing; He is declaring what He has already settled. God never goes back on His word—never. Every promise He makes is backed by His character, and His character cannot fail.

The Scripture says, “Not one word failed.” This is a reminder that God’s word to you will not fail either. Situations may change, seasons may shift, and circumstances may shake, but God’s word remains firm. Heaven and earth may pass away, but His word stands forever.

It also reminds us that God’s word is good. The Bible speaks of the good words God gave to Israel, and none of them failed. God’s word over your life is good—words of hope, victory, progress, health, and peace. He has spoken that you will be above and not beneath, that you will prosper, that your life will reflect His goodness. None of these words are empty.

Finally, the text assures us that “everything came out right.” Even when the journey looks like fire, a lion’s den, or a cross, the end will be right. What God has spoken will surely come to pass. Hold tightly to His word—it is the surest anchor you can ever have.

Reflection
Which promise of God are you holding onto right now? Though it may seem delayed or challenged, remind yourself today that God’s word is good, reliable, and unstoppable. What He has spoken concerning you will come out right.

Prayer
Faithful God, I thank You because Your word never fails. Help me to trust You even when circumstances suggest otherwise. Strengthen my faith to hold onto Your promises without wavering. Let every good word You have spoken over my life come to pass in Your perfect time. I choose to rest in Your truth, knowing that everything will come out right in Jesus' name. Amen..

Have a fruitful day
