Get Up and Go
Get Up and Go
"That night, GOD told Gideon: 'Get up and go down to the camp. I've given it to you.'" (Judg. 7:9)
For many of us, the only thing standing between us and our breakthrough is simple obedience. The instruction is clear: get up and go.
The groundwork had already been laid. The excess had been trimmed. The right men were in place. The provisions were gathered, and the trumpets were ready. Everything Gideon needed had been supplied. Yet victory still required one final step—movement.
Nothing significant happens without action. Plans, no matter how perfect, remain powerless until they are executed. In this age, hesitation can cost us destiny. It is no longer always ready, set, go—sometimes, it is go, and trust God to help you adjust along the way.
When God gives a command, He does not require our full understanding—only our obedience. Too often, we become trapped in endless analysis, waiting for perfect clarity before we move. But faith does not wait for certainty; it responds to instruction.
The call today is simple: rise, step out, and move forward. What God has already placed in your hands is enough. The path may not be fully visible, but He who sent you will guide you.
It is time to stop delaying.
It is time to stop overthinking.
It is time to get up and go.
Reflection:
What instruction have you received that you have delayed acting on? Is it fear, doubt, or the need for certainty that is holding you back? Consider that obedience, even when imperfect, often opens the door to clarity. Movement invites direction.
Prayer:
Lord, give me the courage to rise when You call and the faith to move without hesitation. Deliver me from fear, doubt, and overthinking. Help me to trust that You have already gone ahead of me and made provision for the journey. As I step out in obedience, guide my path and strengthen my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Have a fruitful day,
